Share it.

I was recently given a piece of advice by a friend. It took me a week to mull it over, but I think I am ready to accept it. She said "share your talent with people while you can." Now I don't have much in the way of talent, but I do enjoy writing poetry. So here are a few of my favorites.

Where We Grow

Floating,
Feather-like,
And twirling,
Downward
Into isotonic
Memories of us.

Floating,
Bubble-round,
And Bursting forth,
In to the maelstrom
That is we.

Floating,
Seeds caught
By wind
And falling
gently,
where we grow.

Gather your brushes!
Open your paints!
The walls are bare.

Get to it!

Create me a new
and wonderous space!
Cover the white.

Get to it!

I want a rainbow!
Every hue that you own.
I'm sick of sterility.
I want a home!

no more whitewashed feelings
no more feeling alone.

Get to it!

The science of me
And the bias of me
Are all wrapped up
In the conscience of me
My id follows
Like my shadow
